San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals Over 44 (+109). Bet $100 to collect $209. Best odds available at DraftKings (Alt Line)
We're at DraftKings for this one since they allow us to move the lines point by point. We can do similar stuff at FanDuel but they don't let you land on whole numbers and they increase in two-point increments. It's always good to check there but sometimes the numbers just don't match up with what we want to do. Still, if you have to play there, 43.5 (-102) is available and isn't the worst move in the world.
Here's the thing about this one, we don't "really" know who will be quarterbacking the Arizona Cardinals. People are saying Colt McCoy is supposed to sit tonight and I am 99.9% sure they are right but there's always a chance Kyler Murray plays. Again, I doubt it but we've all seen weird stuff happen in the NFL. With that being said, all mental simulations were done with Colt McCoy as the starter. Still, I'm confident that if they were done with Kyler Murray as quarterback, the results would still be the same.
Anytime there is this much doubt going into a game, just take the over in the morning. That's what I do and I've grown to be a happy, healthy 45-year-old so I know what I'm talking about. If you look right now, we can't even take a receiver prop on the Arizona side which is terrible. James Connor is available but we want DeAndre Hopkins here people. Of course, James Connor could easily get his number but Hopkins will do it with more flair. Not having him is what led me to the alt totals to begin with so we should be thanking the books.
This one is simple, the 49ers' offense should easily put up 27+ points which means 17 out of the Cardinals will at least lead us to a push. Over their last four games, the Cardinals have not scored less than 21. Coincidentally enough, that coincides with Hopkins coming back from suspension. We talk about the 49ers with this great defense but they gave up 28 points to the Atlanta Falcons this season. They can give up points. I have this as a 30-17 type game and if that happens, we should cash sometime in the 4th quarter. Feels right.
