It is a tradition to eat Thanksgiving dinner and watch the Dallas Cowboys. In most cases, as a lifelong Eagles fan, it makes Thanksgiving a little sweeter when they lose, but this year, they play the Giants, so my hate is about even for both of these teams.

Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Prediction

These two teams have enjoyed many successes early in the year but are coming off two completely opposite weeks. The Giants were steamrolled by the Detroit Lions on their home field, which left Giants fans concerned. On the other side of things, Dallas is fresh off their most impressive game of the year as they blew out the Minnesota Vikings on the road.

The Giants are a team that has certainly overachieved this year. New York comes into this game representing a record of 7-3. Their team total on wins coming into the year was 7.5, to put things into perspective. The Giants are a playoff team at the moment, but they know they need to close their season strong if they want to make a playoff push. Dallas was expected to be one of the best teams in the NFC entering the year, so it is not all that surprising to see them at 7-3. These two teams clashed in week three in a game that Dallas won 23-16 on the road. 

I will be backing the Giants with the points tonight. I understand that the Giants just got blown out, but I think that loss is making this line too large. On the other side, I think this line is slightly inflated because of the Cowboy's win over the Vikings. This is a divisional game at the end of the day, and I think the Giants will come out and fight hard this afternoon.
