Colts vs. Steelers Prediction

Pat Freiermuth Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-110) Bet $100 to collect $190. BetMGM has the best offer, click here!

We're at BetMGM for this one because they have the best price on our boy Pat. At the moment, DraftKings has the same number but it's priced at -130. Yikes. Over at FanDuel, they are sitting at 46.5 (-113). Even if you want to just roll with 50+, it's going to be even money. It's a toss-up for me, but I think I'd rather just lay the -110 and get the discount on the number. As always, if you want to get a little wild, FanDuel lets you go 60+ (+162), 70+ (+240), 80+ (+360), 90+ (+520), and 100+ (+750). It's all deadly.

As of right now, this move has no shot of losing. In fact, this actually looks like a signup bonus without the rollover. A 'double your deposit' type thing. You don't see books do it often but it's nice when they do it. Class moves by them. It's hard to find situations to bet around the NFL to bet this time of year because the books are good at pricing data. That's why we need to act on stuff like this even if we aren't big "handout" people.

This is a target thing people. You can't get receiving yards without targets (science). In the two games since Chase Claypool left town, no tight end in the NFL has seen more targets than Freiermuth (19). I get one of the games was a shootout but in the three before that, he's totaled 23. Two of those games were low-scoring games so we're good there. Overall, this guy has only turned in less than 57 receiving yards once in his last four outings. He's not just getting to 45 yards, he's flying over that total.

Tonight our boy gets the Colts and at first glance, it looks like they defend the tight end well. They're about middle of the pack in terms of yards given up to the position but sometimes you have to dig a little deeper to get the truth. Last week's game against the Eagles doesn't really count in terms of shutting down the tight end. They're not even using one since Dallas Goedert got hurt. But when you look at the names that have had decent games against them recently, it'll blow your mind. Foster Moreau 3-43-1, Hunter Henry 4-50 (Jonnu Smith 3-21 same game), and Austin Hooper 3-56. These Colts are sieves to the position. This could be the greatest bet of all time.
