Los Angeles is in danger of having the worst record in NFL history after winning a Super Bowl. It has been a combination of poor play and injuries that have held the Rams back, and now they are in a position tonight where nobody knows who will be playing quarterback.
There are three options, it appears. The first will be the man who started last week, John Wolford, who is questionable tonight with a neck injury. The second would be Bryce Perkins, who started two weeks ago in a loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. The third is a former number one overall pick Baker Mayfield who was just claimed off of waivers by the Rams this week. We do not know who is playing yet, but we do know it will be one of those three.
The Raiders come into this game feeling like they are playing their best football at the moment. Las Vegas has won a season-high three straight, and at 5-7, there is still a path to the playoffs for the Silver and Black. The Raiders have been competitive in six of their seven losses, losing them by one possession. They will look to stay in the win category tonight and make it four in a row.
I am backing the Rams on the spread tonight. I know that a lot of people will not love this pick, and I understand, but this, like says, Rams. I think that their defense can do enough here to hold the Raiders in check, and on the other side of things, the Raiders have one of the worst defenses in football. I think that the Rams can put up some points tonight and stay within this number. Let’s cash in!
