The San Francisco 49ers will start their third quarterback this season in Sunday's matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But the 49ers aren't too worried. San Francisco hasn't lost a game in over a month and has the best defense in the NFL in many stats this season. The 49ers don't need to score many points to win games. They need some points. Brock Purdy is taking over at quarterback. He was Mr. Irrelvent in the NFL Draft but has played in some significant games throughout his time with Iowa State in college. The 49ers have won games by limiting turnovers and giving the defense a lot of field to work with.
Purdy threw an interception last week in their win against the Dolphins. He showed some incredible things but was also sacked three times and, again, had that interception.
He'll have to match Tom Brady, who has been very good at limiting turnovers. Brady has thrown just three interceptions all year. Plus, the Buccaneers also have some momentum after beating the Saints in the final minute last week.

Christian McCaffrey has multiple ways of scoring touchdowns. He can score a rushing touchdown or a receiving touchdown, which would count as an anytime touchdown. His versatility is what makes him so unique as a touchdown scorer.
McCaffrey has two rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns in six games with the 49ers. Last week against the Dolphins, CMC had 17 carries for 66 yards and eight receptions on ten targets. He caught a touchdown in that game. With Brock Purdy under center, we're going to see McCaffrey with the ball against the Buccaneers.

Leonard Fournette was limited at practice on Thursday. He could end up sitting out of this game. Even if he plays, his play time could be limited. White still earned nine carries with the Buccaneers last week, despite the Bucs trailing most of the game.
Of course, White caught the game-winning touchdown pass to give the Buccaneers the victory. Like McCaffrey, the versatility is there. Even with Fournette playing, White still had six receptions on eight targets.
Previous to that game, he caught nine passes on nine targets. The Buccaneers are getting him involved in the offense whenever they can. He's a threat to score every week.

Kittle hasn't been involved much in the San Francisco offense. But for a guy with four touchdowns and terrific pass-catching ability, I had to add him here with that +350 price tag.
Kittle caught two touchdowns passed against Arizona a couple of weeks ago. With Purdy under center, he provides a massive target in the end zone on passing plays.
He still has big play-making ability. Kittle has earned a 19-yard or better reception in eight of his last nine games. The gamble is worth it here.
