Seattle Seahawks vs New York Jets Prediction

Geno Smith is an accurate quarterback. The guy is completing over 70% of his passes. This is admittedly a tough matchup for him but this number is just too low not to take. Geno has 22+ completions in seven of his last eight games with his one miss being on the hook at 21. The Jets are a tough matchup and only allow 20.6 completions per game, but part of that is when Zach Wilson was playing teams that he knew the Jets wouldn’t be able to score to keep up so they ran the clock.
With Mike White active I like the Jets to put up points to keep Seattle passing throughout here. Lockett is listed as questionable but everything I see points to him playing. Seattle are actually +1.5 underdogs, which is a sign that they will be throwing late in the fourth quarter hopefully if we haven’t already cashed by then.
The weather projects to have no wind and no rain/snow to make the ball slippery. This is a must-win game for both teams and Kenneth Walker is a little banged up. All signs point to this either being a shootout or a low-scoring close game with methodical drives using short passes. I just think this number is too low and the Geno can throw 11 completions in each half. Let's roll!
