Well, we kick off week two of the NFL preseason this year as the Cleveland Browns take on the Philadelphia Eagles in tonight's first game of the week. These squads are heading into this game (and season) coming off of vastly different seasons, and while every squad wants to win the Super Bowl, these squads also have different expectations this week.

I also expect these squads to be going about their business differently than most squads in the first 2-3 weeks of the preseason, and so far, that has been true. Like all of the teams with elite talent, the Eagles are sitting much of their first and even some of their secondary guys on the depth chart, and there is no reason to risk injury.
With that said, though, Philly still has one of the best quarterback rooms in the league, and with Marcus Mariota now backing up their starter and superstar Jalen Hurts, this team still has a legit signal caller under center tonight.
Mariota had ups and downs last season, as he has had in much of his career, but you can't ignore the facts: the guy is a veteran now with nearly five full years of starts and a few more seasons in between, and is still very talented. Like Hurts, he can really add another dynamic and threat to open things up in an offense with his running ability.
If we get him for a full half, I love the Eagles to score plenty and I think Cleveland keeps it tight early with the better of their two quarterbacks getting play tonight, having the ball early in Dorian Thompson-Robinson. I think we see a good first half and Philly finds a way to pull away in the second half.
