Well, we are back with some Friday Night preseason NFL action this evening, as we have two games tonight. We are actually going to take a wager in both of these games, so I am going to cut the prologue here and dive right in.
New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers Prediction
Carolina got smoked by the Jets last week 27-0, and for that very reason, I love our wager tonight. Bryce Young only played one drive but was unimpressive before Matt Corral took the ball. Corral threw for 126 yards and a pick but was otherwise kept quiet as the offensive line struggled all night long to protect their signal callers.
Tonight, I expect two things from them. The first is for them to crack things open and score; most teams respond well to bad preseason losses. I really think they score some and get things going offensively tonight. On the flip side, this squad just gave up nearly 30, and it is not like they are going to bring out all of the starters for this game. I expect a similar look defensively which means this Giants squad should have reasons to score as well.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Cincinnati Bengals Prediction
I will keep this short and sweet as there really is not a lot of depth to the analysis here; it is preseason. The Bengals are an automatic contender based on the roster, but with Joe Burrow down on injury, I expect Cincinnati to take zero risks the rest of preseason and play few starters, if any. They do not need to care about preseason because they know they can compete there, but Atlanta is on a different side of the script.
They are not coming off their best season by any means, but they did look good in week one in a 19-3 win over Miami, playing very few starters. Desmond Ridder looked good and is going to be the starter on Week 1, so expect at least a quarter, maybe even a full half of play from him here as they tune up the offense.
