Well, we finally are back to having Monday Night Football, and although it is still the preseason, I am ready to wager on this clash tonight. The Baltimore Ravens enter this game on a stellar 24-game win streak in the preseason and are looking to continue that trend tonight against the Washington Commanders on the road.

Interestingly enough, Washington has lost five times in the preseason to Baltimore since 2016, the most of any team In the league along this run for Baltimore. Philly took their stab at ending the streak last week in a hard-fought game but still lost in a 20-19 affair. Washington rides into this contest, having won their first game of the preseason as well. This is preseason football. At the end of the day, we see both ends of the spectrum in terms of how coaches and organizations go about their business, but one thing is obvious: some people care, and some people don't.

Obviously, losing a preseason game is not going to define a season, but everyone likes to hold a record, and who doesn't like to win football games? Tyler Huntley was a pro bowler last season thanks to his performance under center following the Lamar Jackson injury, and although he has proven he can start in the NFL, I still don't expect him to take his reps or playing time lightly. I expect a strong first half from this Baltimore offense following some comments by players on the Washington team about the streak last week.
The streak will eventually end, but I see no reason to bet on it happening tonight. I'll ride with the better program to keep the preseason success going.
