With only one week of preseason football left, it is important to stick to the “quality over quantity” method when betting these games. You don’t want to get too “trigger-happy” with your units before the regular season even starts. So far this preseason, I am 4-2, +1.71u. Let’s keep this momentum rolling into my Thursday night preseason play…

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Indianapolis Colts Prediction
These teams have extremely different gameplans this preseason. The Eagles are fresh off a Super Bowl appearance and won’t be looking to try anything new in their final preseason game. In fact, I’d be surprised if any of their starters even play, as Coach Sirianni has yet to play his starters in the final week of exhibition football in his two years as a head coach.
The Colts are still trying to get their new starting QB, Anthony Richardson, as many reps as possible. Although he didn’t play last week, Coach Steichen needs to give Richardson a chance at redemption after an underwhelming week one. In other words, the first-year head coach will be letting Richardson cook for a good chunk of tonight’s game.
Once Richardson comes out, it will be Gardner Minshew taking over. There’s a solid chance we'll see him in the second quarter, and after the incredible game he had last week, that’s probably what we want. He went 13/15 with 107 yards with a touchdown. Minshew has responded incredibly to the news of Richardson being named the week one starter; expect him to put up another impressive performance in the first half tonight.
We probably won’t see Jonathan Taylor, but Zach Moss and Deon Jackson are more than capable of succeeding against the Eagles' second and third-team defense.
With the spread moving from -3.5 to -4.5 in this contest, back the Colts before this line gets even bigger. Instead of worrying about the Colts' second and third teams, let’s isolate their starters against the Eagles’ backups. Take the Colts in the first half; although the Eagles were last year’s Super Bowl runner-up and the Colts are rebuilding, Indy’s first team still holds an advantage against the Eagles’ backups.
