Today, we will be targeting Amon-Ra's receptions, not his yards. His yards have gotten a little too crazy for my liking, and he is much more consistent in receptions. He has hit his 6.5 line in seven of his last ten matches and 56% on the season last year. He is averaging over seven catches per game in his last ten. Overall, Amon-Ra has hit in four of his last five road games as well for this number.
I love the game script opportunity here. I expect the Chiefs to be winning, and Amon-Ra has hit in four of his last five games when the Lions are losing or tied in the third quarter and in two of his last three games last year when they tied at halftime.
I expect the Chiefs, who did give up the 13th most passing yards in 2022, to suffer slightly with the loss of all-pro defensive tackle Chris Jones, who is holding out. He is a big part of pressuring the quarterback, and with some more time, it should allow Jared Goff and Amon-Ra to connect.
