Well, tonight we end the first official week of the 2023 NFL season with a star-studded clash in what I anticipate will likely compete with Thursday Night's clash between the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs for the game of the week here in week one. Emotions will be high and patriotic energy will engulf the stadium tonight as two of New York's squads meet on the twenty-second anniversary of the September 11th attacks in the heart of New York City. The Buffalo Bills will travel to MetLife Stadium tonight for a clash with their division rival New York Jets in what should be a slugfest that will kick off what should be a tight race in the AFC East between these squads this year.

Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets Prediction
The Buffalo Bills have been one of football's best squads over the last few seasons and have high hopes for this 2023 campaign. They are among the favorites to win the AFC and are led by one of the favorites in the MVP conversation, Josh Allen. The gunslinger from the University of Wyoming is entering his sixth season in the NFL and his entering his prime in terms of quarterback years. With him leading a potent offensive unit and a strong squad defensively, the Bills are poised for another strong season.
The New York Jets are ready to spoil all of that.
Led by four-time MVP winner and future hall of fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Jets are out for blood this year. They were average at best last year due to an exceptional defense keeping them in a lot of games, the offense just couldn't get the job done every week. With massive upgrades on both sides of the ball, the offense is primed for an explosive season with a tandem of talented tailbacks, good receivers that will be even better with Rodgers as their signal caller and a defensive unit that has the potential to be a top-five unit in the league this season.
I am buying in on the Hard Knocks hype. This team has sleeping beast potential and some phenomenal coaching is ready to take these guys far this year and I think we see a statement victory here in week one.
