Monday Night Football Anytime TD Picks: Two Anytime Touchdown Picks for Jets vs. Bills

Week one comes to a close in New Jersey as the Jets host the Bills in MetLife Stadium. The Jets are looking to rebound from a last-place finish in the AFC East last season, and they are hopeful with former Green Bay Packer Aaron Rodgers joining the squad. Rodgers has a few familiar faces with him in New Jersey, and he happens to be +310 to score tonight. He is one of my two favorite props to score tonight.

Allen Lazard Anytime Touchdown (+310) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Not only does Allen Lazard have familiarity with Aaron Rodgers, but he also has familiarity with Jet's offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. Rodgers is dealing with a new offensive line, on a new team, with a new head coach, in a new stadium. It's week one, he barely played the preseason, and two of his offensive linemen were out for most of training camp/preseason. I wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers goes to who he knows in this game, given he and Lazard have a connection.

Lazard and Rodgers talked all offseason in the midst of Rodger's intense negotiations with between Packers and the Jets, and they very clearly made the decision to go to the same new team. Lazard even said that Rodgers and he worked out together for most of the offseason in California when he was a Jet, and Rodgers was still a Packer. They have a unique connection, and I would be surprised if Rodgers did not lean on it early, especially in the red zone where the receiver/quarterback connection is key. +310 for Rodger's most familiar target to score in week one? Yes, please.

Dalton Kincaid Anytime Touchdown (+370) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

I took this play in my same-game parlay for tonight as well, so make sure you go check that parlay out for tonight. This is one of my favorite plays for tonight with the highest odds as well. I'm not even going to touch a wide receiver on the Bills to score because the Jets have the scariest secondary in the league, led by Sauce Gardner, the highest-graded cornerback in the league. The way to beat this Jets team this year will be with short passes ahead of the secondary, and lots of screen plays with great blocks. The Jets were a lockdown defense against wide receivers in the red zone last year, allowing just .6 touchdowns per game to opposing wide receivers. With that being said, I would target a tight end or running back on the Bills to score tonight, and the highest value lies with rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid.

Kincaid was the Bill's first-round pick in the 2023 draft, and their investment in him could pay off early. Sure, Dawson Knox could also be a good tight end bet, but I think Kincaid will be the main receiving target in this offense, while Knox will be the main blocker, which is exactly why they drafted him. Kincaid caught 8 touchdowns in 11 regular season games at Utah last season, and he has an amazing set of hands for a tight end. This play could definitely be considered 'a long shot', but the payoff on the line is too good. The secondary will have Bill's receivers strapped down, especially in the red zone, which will open up the passing lanes for the alternate receivers not lined up out wide.
