We’ve got a marquee matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets on the first Monday Night Football game of the season. Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Dalvin Cook, and some of the other stars playing in this game have stolen the spotlight but I’m looking to target a guy that’s going under the radar.

Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets Prediction

Dawson Knox has a receiving yards line set at 18.5 a number he exceeded in 12/17 games last season. Bills first-round tight end Dalton Kincaid is getting a ton of hype and he should be involved in the offense early but Knox is still the TE in Buffalo. Rookie tight ends have a history of getting off to a slow start and in a game that will have a playoff atmosphere I expect Knox to be the tight end that Josh Allen leans on.

The Jets' secondary was a no-fly zone last year as they allowed the 3rd fewest passing yards to opposing offenses but their strength is on the outside. New York allowed the 6th most receiving yards to tight ends in 2022 which will leave Knox with a great opportunity to go over this line. He recorded 3 catches for 25 yards and 4 catches for 41 yards in two games vs. the Jets last year and I expect him to do so once again.
