New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills prop bet picks and predictions for Week 1's Monday Night Football matchup. With Sauce Gardener locking up Stefon Diggs, can we expect a big game from Gabe Davis? Matt MCCuen gives us his favorite prop pick.
ANALYSIS

New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills Prop Bet Picks: Will Gabe Davis Shine on Monday Night Football?

The Buffalo Bills vs. the New York Jets will clash from MetLife Stadium on Monday night.

The Jets have been one of the more hyped-up games that I can remember in recent memory. The reason for that?

Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the history of football, and for the first time in his career, he will be wearing a uniform that is not the Green Bay Packers.

Rodgers requested a trade out of Green Bay and found his way to the Jets.

New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills Prop Bet Picks

The Jets were one of the best defenses in football, ranking second overall in 2022. Despite the dominant defense, the Jets won just seven games and missed out on the playoffs.

There is no team in football with higher expectations than the Jets entering 2023.

A lot of that has to do with Rodgers, and maybe some of it has to do with the fact that this team was on Hard Knocks this summer.

The bottom line is that anything less than making the playoffs is unacceptable for New York.

Buffalo, meanwhile, will look to defend its throne in the East.

Since taking over as the starting quarterback, Josh Allen has owned the AFC East.

Buffalo remains the favorite to win the AFC East despite all of the noise and expectations surrounding the Jets.

I already gave out my favorite pick of this game from a spread standpoint, so I decided that we also needed a prop lock tonight.

All of the attention heading into this game will be on Bills receiver Stefon Diggs.

All-pro cornerback Sauce Gardner will guard Diggs, and while Diggs will still make plays in this game, this will open up the number two option, Gabe Davis.

DJ Reed likely will get some assignments vs. Davis, and while Reed is an outstanding corner, Davis has big play ability.

Davis had the best year of his career in 2022, putting together eight hundred thirty-six yards and seven touchdowns.
