Ravens vs. Bengals Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Joe Burrow and Bengals Be Any Worse in Week 2?

The Cleveland Browns are a stacked defense. But Joe Burrow made the Browns look like the best defense ever.

After signing a five-year, $275 million contract with the Bengals, Burrow and the Bengals laid an egg against the Browns in Week 1.

The Bengals lost to the Browns, 24-3, as a slight favorite on the road.

It was a bad loss, but it was also a divisional loss.

Now, they'll take on the Baltimore Ravens in another divisional matchup. The Ravens just knocked off the Texans, 25-9 last week, and look poised to make a postseason run this year.

Can Burrow and the Bengals respond to Week 1's disaster on their home field in Week 2?

Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Sunday's game between the Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals Prediction

There's been so much talk about the Bengals' offense. However, nobody wants to give any credit to the defense.

I'll do it.

The Bengals' defense held the Browns to 360 points and allowed just 154 yards in the air. They struggled against the run, essentially allowing Nick Chubb to run wherever he wanted. But the coverage was great, and the Bengals really didn't miss many tackles.

On the other hand, the offense was embarrassing. The Bengals were unable to get anything going throughout the entire game.

Joe Burrow finished with a 45.2% completion percentage and averaged just 2.6 yards per attempt. He was also sacked two times and was pressured all day long.

Every long ball that Burrow threw missed his targets completely. He was either not on the same page, or he sailed balls over his receivers' heads. It was unlike him.

Burrow was a runner-up to win the MVP last year for the Bengals. The offensive line has never been good for Burrow, but he's still found a way.

On the other hand, the Ravens earned a win over the Texans. The defense played exceptionally well. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. They faced a Texans offense led by rookie CJ Stroud.

Stroud has a lot of potential. But it was his first game of his career in the NFL. Facing Burrow and the Bengals will be much more challenging.

However, the offense just lost J.K. Dobbins for the year. He injured his Achilles and will sit out another season in the NFL.

The Ravens still have Justice Hill and Gus Edwards. So they've got depth in the run game.

Meanwhile, the offense still only added 279 yards of offense. The pass protection was good, and Zay Flowers had an excellent rookie debut, adding nine catches for 78 yards, but the offense didn't blow the Texans away.

Therefore, I like the Under 46.5 in this one. The Bengals will ultimately figure some things out. But it's hard to get right against the Ravens' defense. In a rivalry matchup, I'm loving the Under.
