This bet makes too much sense not to take. We essentially need three Lions touchdowns with no misses on extra points or two-point conversion attempts. The Lions team total for this game is 26.5, which is a great sign we see them find the end zone three times.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Detroit Lions Prediction
Last year, when Seattle and Detroit faced off, we saw 93 points scored. This Lions team feels better than last year, and they will have a fired-up home crowd with them for the home opener. Patterson went three for three on XP’s in Week 1 against Kansas City, and Seattle allowed three extra points in Week 1 to the Rams.
Seattle last year allowed 3+ XPA in 11 out of 17 games. Lions have one of the top offenses in the league, and the improvement on defense should only help the offense get the ball closer to the endzone on turnovers and punts. I like this game to be relatively high-scoring and this bet to be a bargain.
The Lions team prop for touchdowns is 3.5, so getting the o2.5 XPM feels like a nice value. Lions should use Jahmyr Gibbs more, according to reports, and if he is as efficient as he was in a limited Week 1 role, then Lions should be moving the chains quite often come Sunday. Let's roll!
