I’m not expecting this one to be a fan favorite, but hear me out. This game projects to have an 80% chance of precipitation and thunderstorms. Last year, we saw Trevor Lawrence play Kansas City in less-than-ideal snowy weather and only mustered 217 wins pass yards.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Prediction

That game was from the postseason, where things are higher pressure, but he also failed to hit this number in the regular season against Kansas City last season. He had 259 yards even though he passed the ball 40 times. The Chiefs have a sneaky good secondary.

The addition of Calvin Ridley is admittedly scary, but the hit rate and weather make me feel like this number is too inflated. If this game turns into neither team being able to pass because of the weather, then I like Travis Etienne more than Isaiah Pacheco, and that could leave Jacksonville keeping the ball out of the hands of Lawrence.

Last week, a high-powered Lions offense only passed for 253 yards, and that was in perfect weather conditions. I think Jacksonville projects similarly to Detroit in terms of talent on offense, and now Kansas City will be playing even more desperately, trying to avoid a 0-2 Super Bowl hangover. Let's roll!
