This one isn’t too popular, and I like that. People will look at Saquon Barkley only running for 51 yards on 12 carries in Week 1 and get scared off. The fact that Barkley even ran for 50+ yards in a 40-0 loss is still impressive to me. He now faces arguably the worst team in the NFL and should see more carries.
New York Giants vs. Arizona Cardinals Prediction
Arizona was shockingly stout against Washington in Week 1, but Saquon is a much better talent than Brian Robinson or Antonio Gibson. I expect Arizona's defense to have regression and Giants offense to move the ball for the first time all year.
In regular season wins last year, we have seen Barkley hit this prop in eight out of nine games. The Giants are over -200 favorites, and running should be in the game plan for all four quarters of this one.
This feels like a no-brainer, and we have an even better number today than was available yesterday. Last year, Arizona allowed 4.66 yards per carry to running backs. That would require 15 handoffs, and Barkley's attempts prop is set at 16.5; we have value here. Let's roll!
