The Detroit Lions are going against a depleted Seattle Seahawks defense who gave up over 150+ yards on the ground last season. Head Coach Dan Campbell has been speaking highly of Jahmyr Gibbs all week, so we expect him to get more touches. Gibbs was averaging six yards per carry in his first NFL game, so I expect him to expose a shaky Seattle defense. He could be in for a monstrous day, and I believe he'll get it done for us.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Detroit Lions Prediction
As of the first game, David Montgomery was the lead back for the Lions, but after viewing some statements from Campbell, I believe the roles are about to shift in this backfield toward young star Jahmyr Gibbs. He finished Week 1 ranked first in missed tackles with seven on only nine carries, averaging an outstanding six yards a carry.
Last week, Montgomery had 21 touches and only averaged 3.5 yards a carry versus a Kansas City defense with no Chris Jones. The Seahawks have a weak defensive line, and star safety Jamal Adams is out another week, along with Linebackers Devin Bush and Boye Mafe being listed as "Questionable."
The Seahawks have also allowed the most plays per game in two of the last three seasons and allowed the third most in that other year. The Los Angeles Rams ran a league-high 78 plays last week against the Seahawks, which should equal more touches for Gibbs.
I'll believe Campbell's statements regarding Gibbs increased in the offense going forward. In Campbell's old-school style of running the ball, Gibbs has a chance to have a huge game against a Seahawks team that gave up over 150+ yards on the ground last season on top of having some guys injured. I believe Gibbs will crush this prop if he is given the expected increase in touches and a game that falls in his favor.
