New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers Prediction

The Saints survived a late comeback from the Tennessee Titans to win 17-16 in Week 1.

New Orleans looked great on defense, while the offense was up and down for the majority of the game.

The Saints are the favorites to win the NFC South, but this is a wide-open division.

Many thought that this would be the worst division in football, yet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 2-0 along with the Atlanta Falcons.

Carolina struggled in Week 1.

The Panthers traded up to select Bryce Young, No. 1 overall in last year's NFL draft.

Young was the best prospect coming out of the draft, but his critics worry how sustainable he will be standing just 5'10.

The rookie threw for just 148 yards and two interceptions in Week 1.

Carolina looked pretty good on defense, allowing just 121 yards against the Falcons.

The Panthers will attempt to avoid going 0-2 in the division tonight.

New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers Pick

Jonathan Mingo was selected in the second round by the Panthers in the 2022 draft.

Mingo was a standout in college, playing at Ole Miss for head coach Lane Kiffin.

The wideout has two catches for 17 yards in Week 1.

Mingo played in 87% of offensive snaps in Week 1. Additionally, Mingo received five targets.

The bottom line here is Mingo will be on the field for most offensive snaps tonight.

There is a good chance that the Panthers play this game in a negative game script, which will greatly favor a Mingo going over this number.

Pick: Jonathan Mingo over 25.5 rec yards -120 is currently the best odds. Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
