Last week, he had nearly 90 yards, and tonight, he goes against a depleted Carolina Panthers defense as one of Derek Carr's favorite targets. He proved last week that he is ready to take the next step in New Orleans, and I believe tonight they'll continue to feed him the ball.

Shaheed has turned into one of Carr's favorite receivers early in the season. During the game last week, Carr turned to Shaheed on the sidelines and said, "be ready if I give you a go route to end this thing; listen to me, Shid, just freaking run." And that is exactly what Shaheed did; he ran and caught an absolute bomb from Carr to seal the game.
This play right here shows me the confidence Carr has in throwing to Shaheed, and I believe versus a depleted Panthers defense tonight, he'll continue to feast. Last week versus the Tennessee Titans, Shaheed had six targets and five receptions for 89 yards.
With the Saints having two other elite receivers, Michael Thomas and Chris Olave, they should draw attention away from Shaheed and open up the field for him. In Shaheed's last eight games, he has gone over this line of 40.5 6 times, and I personally believe this line is too low for him.
Last year, with a fully healthy defense, the Panthers gave up the fourth most receiving yards to wide receivers. On top of Shaheed getting five receptions last week, he averaged a whopping 17.8 yards a catch, meaning if he only got three catches while keeping that average, he would surpass that 40.5 receiving line. Tonight should be a field day for Shaheed, and I believe he'll cash his line.
