5 minColts vs. Ravens Prediction, Pick, Odds: Hammer the Under With Anthony Richardson Questionable in Week 3
It was bound to happen.
The Indianapolis Colts' rookie quarterback, Anthony Richardson, is in concussion protocol for the Colts heading into Week 3. Indianapolis earned a decisive victory over the Houston Texans last weekend. However, Richardson was concussed on his second rushing touchdown of the game.
The Colts might have to play Gardner Minshew at quarterback if Richardson cannot go.
Whoever is at quarterback won't have a fun time on the road against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens are 2-0 with wins over the Texans and Bengals. They've also played tremendous defense to begin the year.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Baltimore Ravens Prediction
The Indianapolis Colts might have to start Gardner Minshew for this game. Minshew is a quality back-up quarterback who finished 19-for-23 for the Colts last weekend against the Texans.
Minshew is probably the better quarterback than Richardson at this very moment. However, the Colts wanted to build hype around their team and start their rookie quarterback. The best way to develop is to play.
Richardson brings versatility that Minshew doesn't. But the Colts will be fine with either player at quarterback.
The pass protection has been good enough. However, the run game is lacking without Jonathan Taylor.
The Colts acted like Taylor was worthless and now have added 95.5 yards per game on the ground. Most of those rushing yards came from Richardson.
Indianapolis will likely struggle to run against the Ravens in this one. Baltimore has held teams to 69 yards per game on the ground to start the season.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have been just as good in coverage, holding teams to 232 yards per game in the air.
To compare, the Colts have given up nearly 400 yards of offense per game, including 312.5 yards in the air per game.
The Colts haven't tackled well and have been poor in coverage this season. The pass rush is effective, but if the secondary doesn't do its job, that won't matter.
Lamar Jackson has only thrown for 406 yards for the Ravens in two games. However, he's finally got a top receiver in Zay Flowers. Flowers has caught 13 balls for 140 yards in two games.
He's been one of the best rookies in the NFL to start the year.
However, typically, the run game is dominant for the Ravens. But they lost JK Dobbins in Week 1 and haven't looked as good as other years, despite earning 144 yards per game on the ground.
The ground game between Justice Hill, Gus Edwards, and Jackson can still be better. However, the Colts have only allowed 78.5 yards per game on the ground.
The Ravens will have success in the air. But other than that, there likely won't be too much offense.
I'll take the Under 44.5 in this one.
