I sure do love this market for NFL Week 3. This time, I'm looking at the Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars game.

I much prefer betting on rookie quarterbacks volume than their efficiency. I really feel like Houston will struggle running the ball against Jacksonville and be forced to pass, much like this last Daniel Jones pass attempts bet we hit.
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Prediction
Jacksonville has allowed just 93 yards to running backs this year on 30 carries. Dameon Pierce has been far from efficient himself, so this is a recipe for Houston to go pass heavy. This is nothing new, as CJ Stroud has already thrown for 47 and 44 passes in his first two games. The man is averaging 45.5 pass attempts on the year, and we need 34. That sounds good to me.
Additionally, I like that Jacksonvilles offense struggled last week. I expect a bounce back from them leading to a passing script. Trevor Lawrence is too talented to put together back-to-back duds, and Houston may have the worst defense in the league. We’re hoping for some quick scores and chunk plays from Jacksonville.
This could be a number we look back on at the end of the year and know we’ll never see anything like it again. As for now, I will gladly take this bet and hope Stroud keeps letting it rip. Let's roll!
