NFL Receiving Props: Targeting Adam Thielen on the Week 3 WR Cheat Sheet

With many quarterback changes, it's time to pivot a bit. When veterans get into the game instead of rookies, it often helps receivers acclimate more.

That'll be the case in Indianapolis and Carolina.

Here are three wide receiver props to consider for today's NFL action.

Also, check my other articles for the other positions, including quarterbacks and running backs.

NFL WR Cheat Sheet Week 3

Adam Thielen Over 3.5 Receptions (+114) via FanDuel

Adam Thielen will be Carolina's No. 1 receiver against the Seahawks today.

He won't have Bryce Young throwing him the ball. Instead, it'll be Andy Dalton.

Thielen has nine receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown through two games this season. He just saw nine targets last week against the Saints and should be as open in today's showdown against the Seahawks.

Seattle has one of the worst secondaries in football through the first two weeks of the season. They've allowed nearly 330 yards passing per game.

I like Thielen to see some volume from Dalton today.

Justin Jefferson Over 100.5 Receiving Yards (-110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

You can go receiver yards, receptions, or touchdowns. I'd agree with all of them.

Justin Jefferson hasn't added a touchdown yet. But he's got 20 catches for 309 yards in two games.

The Vikings will take on arguably the worst secondary in the NFL, the Chargers.

The Chargers allowed Tua Tagovailoa to throw for 466 yards in Week 1. In Week 2, Los Angeles lost to a Ryan Tannehill-led Titans squad.

Kirk Cousins has thrown for over 700 yards in two games. Much of that volume has been directed at Jefferson, who should have another monster game today.

Rashid Shaheed Under 40.5 Receiving Yards (-110) via FanDuel

Rashid Shaheed has added nine catches for 152 yards, averaging nearly 17 yards per catch.

He's not going to keep this up. Not against a Packers secondary and pass rush that has looked above-average to begin the year.

Shaheed relies on the big plays down the field. If he can't get those, it'll be hard for him to reach more than 40 yards receiving. The Packers have been way worse against the run than agaisnt the pass to begin the season.

It'll stay that way today. Take Shaheed to go Under 40.5 receiving yards.
