I’m going to be targeting two mobile quarterbacks today who are in great matchups – Josh Allen and Desmond Ridder. I am expecting them both to use their feet and be forced to scramble out of the pocket. I think they both have great chances to hit their normal line with the potential to go way over. Below is my parlay with reasoning for each leg from Bet365.
NFL Week 3 Parlay
Leg 1: Josh Allen 50+ Rushing Yards
50+ Rushing Yards in six of the last 11 road games
8+ Rushing Attempts in ten of the last 12 road games
The Washington Commanders have allowed the eighth most QB Rush Yards in 2022 and 2023
The Commanders have ten sacks through two games and have done well pressuring the QB – they should force Allen out of the pocket, leading to more scrambles
Leg 2: Desmond Ridder 25+ Rushing Yards
10 Rush Attempts for 39 Yards last week against the Green Bay Packers
Both QBs covered their lines against the Detroit Lions in Weeks 1 and 2 (Geno Smith had 20 Yards, and Patrick Mahomes had 45 Yards)
The Lions allowed the most Rushing Yards to QBs last season and already rank seventh in Rush Yards allowed this season
Seven of the last 13 QBs have gone for 25+ Rushing Yards against the Lions
