5 minTennessee Titans vs. Cleveland Browns Prediction: Can the Browns Get By Without Nick Chubb?
The Cleveland Browns were involved in one of the more interesting games of the entire NFL season to this point with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night, as there were multiple defensive touchdowns and just odd plays all over the field. Nick Chubb, who is one of the best running backs in the entire league, went down with a knee injury and will likely be out for the rest of the season, so the Browns will have to pick up the slack on offense in his place.

Tennessee Titans vs. Cleveland Browns Prediction
Jerome Ford stepped in nicely in his absence and added over 100 total yards in the game, including a near 70-yard touchdown run that put the Browns in prime position to score. The Browns really played better than the Steelers in that game, but two key plays were the difference. One was the first play of the game, where Pittsburgh ran back an interception for a touchdown, and the second was a fumble return for a touchdown by JJ Watt, which ended up being the game-winning score for the Steelers.
Deshaun Watson had a long night in the Cleveland backfield and did not play very well at all. He has had a very rough go of it so far in 2023 and will need to play much better if this Browns team is going to make any noise. Things do not get much easier for Deshaun Watson and this Browns offense, however, as they have to face the Tennessee Titans, who have been a very formidable defense to this point.
The Titans played very solid defense against the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. Then they allowed 24 points to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2, but that proved to be enough to win the game in overtime as they got a stop on Justin Herbert and that high-powered Chargers offense when it counted most in the first possession of overtime.
In Week 1 against the Saints, the Titans also did a very good job of bowing their necks and forcing field goals in the red zone and plus territory and not allowing touchdowns. The Titans also love to establish the running game with Derrick Henry and their short passing game. What is this a recipe for? In my opinion, this game is a great recipe for an under, as the Browns' offense is struggling in the passing game with Deshaun Watson but they do have a very formidable running back in Jerome Ford, so they should rely on him heavily to establish the run to create opportunities in the passing game.
On the flipside, Tennessee has a very formidable defense that has gotten a lot of stops and forced many field goals, and they also like to establish the running game, as Derrick Henry is one of the most talented backs in the entire league. With that being said, I am rolling with the full game Under 38.5 at -108 for 1.5u as my most confident NFL Play of the Day for today’s action.
