Week 3 NFL Prop Bets: Can CeeDee Lamb Find the End Zone?

The third Sunday of the NFL season is here, and it brings us some very large spreads with some of the top teams in the league playing the "bottom-feeders." Two of those games will happen this afternoon, with the Dallas Cowboys laying 12.5 points against the Arizona Cardinals, and the Kansas City Chiefs laying 12.5 points against the Chicago Bears. I have two anytime touchdown angles I love, with one on each game.

Week 3 NFL Prop Bets

CeeDee Lamb Anytime Touchdown +110 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Dak Prescott has only thrown two touchdown passes so far this season even though the Cowboys have scored 70 points through two games. It's kind of unreal to think about, and it's even crazier to think he hasn't even hit a wide receiver for one yet.

The two touchdown passes have gone to Jake Ferguson and Luke Schoonmaker, both tight ends. CeeDee Lamb has had 17 targets through two games, hauling in 15 of those for 220 yards. He's had five plays of 20+ yards already through two games, yet he has not caught one in the end zone yet.

CeeDee had nine touchdown catches in the regular season last year, and it also took him some time to get his first last year. Lamb's first touchdown came in week three last season, and they say history has a way of repeating itself. The Cowboys have been moving the ball well, yet with 70 points, a wide receiver has not scored. That changes this week and CeeDee will get on the board.

Jerick McKinnon Anytime Touchdown +200 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

The Chiefs are massive favorites this week, laying 12.5 points against the Bears at home. The Chief's offense has yet to have an explosive game, as they have scored 20 and 17 points over their first two games. That should change this game, as the Bears have surrendered 65 points over the first two weeks to the Bucs and Packers.

With that being said, there should be a fair amount of touchdowns for the Chiefs this week. While Mahomes can certainly hit his favorite targets through the air (mostly Travis Kelce), if they get on the goal line, the Chiefs should at least get one on the ground, and I'll take my chances that it is Jerick McKinnon.

Starting running back Isaiah Pacheco is questionable with a hamstring injury in this game, and that sucks because I have him on my fantasy team. With Pacheco questionable, I don't expect him to play much in this game, given the high odds on the Chiefs to win. If they are cruising, there is absolutely no reason to force Pacheco in this game with how much they could need him in the future. He is an extremely explosive back who adds a dynamic attack from the backfield, so I really hope the Chiefs do not force carries out of him in what should be an easy win without him.

Instead, look for Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon to get some work in this game. CEH has had his time in Kansas City, but it seems like the Chiefs want the majority of the workload on Pacheco and McKinnon, so I think McKinnon has a chance to end up with the most carries in this game. McKinnon can also catch, so he may get a look through the air in the red zone. Either way, this is a good price on who could have a big role in this game in a potential blowout.
