I actually played high school ball with the guy; he was a superstar back then and has continued on that track his whole career. The former Vianney Golden Griffin and Notre Dame Alum is a versatile ATH who has excelled out of the backfield, in the slot, wherever you want to throw him.
His patient, explosive running style is ideal for the league, and his pass-catching abilities out of the backfield are a huge bonus. Williams is a three-down back who obviously has landed in favor with Sean McVay. Trading Cam Akers is confirmation that this is now Williams' backfield, and I do not expect him to do anything but thrive.
At every level of football, he has been a dynamic athlete who is a centerpiece in the offense with a nose for the end zone. With four touchdowns through two weeks already and his touches going up significantly in Week 2, I really expect him to continue to become a focal point in this offense. No one can score every week, but I will be taking this prop all season long, and I am quite confident it will be profitable for us.
