This is a massive game for the Bengals, who surprisingly enter play with a 0-2 record.
This is a team that had aspirations to win a Super Bowl entering the year.
It was hard not to consider the Bengals a Super Bowl team as they have a roster that has been there in the past, led by one of the best quarterbacks in football, Joe Burrow.
Burrow has not looked like himself early on, and the reason why may be injury. The former Heisman Trophy winner is questionable for tonight as he recovers from a leg injury.
The realm that tonight is a key game is due to the fact that the Bengals do not want to fall to 0-3. His odds of making the playoffs at 0-3 versus 1-2 are significant.
The Rams will attempt to stand in the way of the Bengals' first win of the season.
Los Angeles entered the year not seen as a playoff team, and things for worse when star wide receiver Copper Kupp was placed on the IR.
The man who has stepped in and performed in the absence of Kupp is rookie Puka Nacua. Nacua leads the team in targets with 35, quickly becoming the favorite target of Matthew Stafford.
The Rams are hopeful that Kupp can return within the next few weeks.
