I’m going to be targeting two players who I think have potential to smash their yards lines tonight on Monday Night Football – Joe Mixon and AJ Brown. I am expecting them both to see lots of opportunities which is why I am taking their alt lines from DraftKings using their no-sweat token. Below is my parlay with reasoning for each leg.
Monday Night Football Parlay
Leg 1: Joe Mixon 100+ Rushing Yards
- Joe Burrow will be playing injured so I expect the Cincinnati Bengals to feed Mixon early and often
- Mixon had 13+ Rush Attempts in Weeks 1 and 2 in negative game scripts – expecting a better one tonight which should mean 15+ Rushing Attempts
- The Los Angeles Rams are allowing the fourth highest Yards per Carry (5.3 YPC)
- The Rams allowed Chistian McCaffrey to go for 20 Carries/116 Yards and Kenneth Walker II to go for 12 Carries/64 Yards
- Mixon had 4.3 and 4.5 Yards per Carry in Weeks 1 and 2
- In home games, Mixon has had a 4.0+ Yards Per Carry: 100+ Rush Yards in seven of the last 14 games (90+ in 9/14)
Leg 2: AJ Brown 100+ Receiving Yards
- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers last five games against Opposing Teams’ WR1s: DJ Moore 104 Yards, Justin Jefferson 150 Yards, CeeDee Lamb 68 Yards, Drake London 120 Yards, and DJ Moore 117 Yards
- AJ Brown is likely to lineup mostly against Carlton Davis III who is questionable with a toe injury (56.3 PFF Coverage Grade – Average) and Jamel Dean (PFF Coverage Grade 41.8 – Below Average)
- The Buccaneers are allowing the eighth most Receiving Yards to Opposing WRs
- AJ Brown has a juiced 4.5 Receptions Line – 100+ Receiving Yards in four of the last seven games with 5+ Receptions
- Only six targets last week; before that he had 8+ targets in seven of the last nine. Expect similar targets tonight
