The Philadelphia Eagles led the league in sacks last season finishing with 70 as a team. Josh Sweat pitched in with 11 and was one of four Eagles that finished with double-digit sacks. Sweat has looked extremely explosive and already has 1.5 sacks through the first two weeks of the season.
Baker Mayfield is known for holding onto the football longer than he should and has been sacked 79 times in the last two seasons despite only playing 26 games. Over that span, Mayfield is averaging 3.03 sacks per game. He has only been sacked once so far this season but expect that to change against Philadelphia’s ferocious defensive front.
