Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Prediction

The Falcons enter play with a 2-1 overall record.

Atlanta suffered their first loss in Week 3 to the Detroit Lions.

The Falcons began the season 2-0 after a win over the Panthers in Week 1 and a hard-fought win over the Packers in Week 2.

Desmond Ridder leads the Falcons offense. Ridder has thrown for 453 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Additionally, Ridder has rushed for 41 yards and one touchdown.

Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier have split carries in the backfield. Robinson has rushed for 213 yards. Allgeier has rushed for two touchdowns.

Wide Receiver Mack Hollins leads the Dirty Birds with 114 receiving yards. Drake London is the only Falcons receiver with a touchdown catch so far this season.

The Falcons defense has played well, ranking seventh in football in points allowed per game (16.7).

Jacksonville will begin play with a 1-2 record.

The Jags won in Week 1 but have lost their last two games. Last week was a disappointing loss as they got blown out by home against a bad Texans team.

Despite the poor start, Jacksonville is still favored to win the AFC South (+135).

Trevor Lawrence leads this Jags offense. The former first-overall pick has thrown for 736 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Running back Travis Etienne Jr. leads the Jags backfield. Etienne Jr. leads the team with 205 rushing yards and one touchdown. Running back Tank Bigsby leads the Jags with two rushing touchdowns.

The Jags have three players who all have racked up 173 yards: Calvin Ridley, Evan Engram, and Christian Kirk. Ridley and Kirk each have one touchdown reception.

Jacksonville ranks 23rd in defense, allowing opponents 25 points per game.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Pick

This is the perfect bounce-back spot for the Jags after a horrific showing in Week 3.

The early season stats suggest that the Falcons are the play, but overall, the Jags are the more talented and better team.

Atlanta will continue to regress after their strong 2-0 start.

The Falcon's offense is not built to play from behind, and they are not built to keep pace with an offense like the Jags. Desmond Ridder has not shown the ability to throw the ball with consistency and put up numbers via the pass.
