Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets Prediction: Can Jordan Whitehead Dominate on Sunday Night Football?

The New York Jets had their plans for this season completed flipped upside down when Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury in their opening game. The Jets offense has really struggled with Zach Wilson under center as they rank dead last in time of possession. The offense’s inability to sustain drives has left their defense overexposed.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets Prediction

New York’s opponents are averaging 73.3 plays per game the most of any team which means a ton of opportunities for tackles. Jordan Whitehead has led the Jets in tackles in each of the last two weeks with nine and ten total.

However, his line is set at just 4.5 tonight as he takes on the Kansas City Chiefs. Whitehead should continue to see plenty of tackle opportunities considering this matchup with Travis Kelce. I’m locking in the over on his tackles + assists as I think Zach Wilson’s ineffectiveness forces the Jets defense to spend a lot of time on the field once again tonight.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets Pick

Jordan Whitehead over 4.5 tackles + assists -130 is currently the best odds. Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds.
