The Chiefs have righted the ship a bit since their opening loss to the Lions as they defeated the Jags and Bears in a somewhat impressive fashion. Their defense shined against Jacksonville as they only allowed 9 points and their offense finally broke through against Chicago as they won in a blowout by a score of 41-10. This game tonight will be the toughest test of the season for the Chiefs' offense as the Jets have one of the better defenses in the league. Last week against New England, the Jets only gave up 15 points in a close loss as their offense just cannot find any rhythm.

Zach Wilson appears to be playing with little to no confidence at the moment and now he has to face an improved Chiefs defense and the defending Super Bowl champs on primetime? Sounds like a potential recipe for disaster but I actually think this is the week Wilson puts it all together. He played a fine game against Buffalo to help manage them to a win in week 1 on primetime against the Bills and I think this is a very similar spot.

The market on the Jets is also super low on them given Wilson’s recent sluggish play and the Chiefs are now favored by 9 points on the road in a tough environment. The Jets offense has been a train wreck so far but they are still an elite defensive group and I actually think they will force a few turnovers tonight after failing to force 1 against Dallas or New England. I think the Jets defense shows up in a big way tonight and I also expect a more positive showing from Zach Wilson as he is due for some positive regression. With that being said, I am rolling with JETS +9 at -118 for 1U as my most confident NFL Play for tonight’s Sunday Night Football showdown.
