Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets Prediction

Kansas City will begin play 2-1. The Chiefs have won two consecutive games after a Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Patrick Mahomes has been good once again to begin the year. He has thrown for 803, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. While those numbers are good, they are underwhelming for him.

Isiah Pacheco leads the Chiefs backfield, rushing for a team-high 155 yards. He has the only rushing touchdown on the team.

Justin Watson is currently the Chiefs leader in receiving yards with 158.

Star-tight end Travis Kelce missed Week 1. He had eight catches for 68 yards last week.

The Jets are off to a 1-2 start, losing two games in a row.

New York pulled off a massive win in Week 1 over the Bills but has struggled in the absence of Aaron Rodgers since.

Zach Wilson leads this New York offense. Wilson has struggled mightily over the last two weeks, which has resulted in many Jets fans calling for him to be on the bench.

News broke over the week that fellow teammates are upset with head coach Robert Saleh for keeping Wilson in as the starter. New York has scored just 20 points over the last eight quarters.

Breece Hall leads the Jets in rushing yards with 158.

Second-year wide receiver Garrett Wilson has been the top option for the Jets in the passing game. Wilson has a team-best 12 catches for 165 yards.

New York ranks 12th in football, allowing opponents 20.3 points per game.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets Pick

New York has looked awful the last two weeks, but they will bounce back and cover tonight.

Over 90% percent of bets are currently on the Chiefs, yet the line has moved down a half point in favor of New York.

The Jets have a defense that is good enough to keep them in this game.

At some point, the Jets offense will get going and be able to put up 14-20 points tonight, which will be enough for a cover.

Pick: New York Jets +9 -110 is currently the best odds. Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds.
