NFL Player Props Week 4: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

One of the most continuously exciting NFL betting markets to wager each week is the anytime touchdown scorer prop, located within NFL player props on most online sportsbooks.

Week 4 gives us the last full slate of games before the start of Byes in Week 5, plus, an early 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff from London, England between the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Atlanta Falcons! There are a ton of revenge game narrative, but there's a lot more data that factors into picking winners in this betting market. Red zone usage, yards per target, defensive schemes, and game script all influence the way players perform. Every guy is talented enough to find the end zone when given the right opportunity. It's up to us to identify these opportunities to cash in a few bets and enjoy an extended Sunday slate of NFL games.

Last week, we went 2-4 with our picks, as both alpha wideouts, Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson, each scored at -110 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook. None of the four, plus odds players hit an anytime touchdown scorer prop in Week 3, although T.J. Hockenson's late bobbled drop in the end zone would've put us at 3-3 to finish .500. Alas, that's football.

Today, NFL handicapper Matt MacKay is back with five anytime touchdown scorer props to wager, providing plenty of analysis behind each recommended pick, including how much to place on these players to score a touchdown during Week 4. Best of luck and thanks for tailing!

Best NFL Week 4 Anytime TD Bets

Zack Moss Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-120) Click here for the best odds for this pick

In Week 3, Indianapolis pulled off a 19-16 overtime win on the road over Baltimore, relying on its run-centric offense to grind the clock. Zack Moss, who didn't pan out in Buffalo, has handled 18-30 carries in both games he's played this season, which included Anthony Richardson for a brief stretch against Houston. Yes, Richardson's return could eat into Moss' valuable red zone touches, but there will be plenty of opportunities for Moss to find the end zone against the Los Angeles Rams' porous run defense. The Rams are tough to pass against, tied with the Browns for the fewest receiving touchdowns (1) allowed, but they are surrendering 4.5 YPC and four rushing touchdowns through three games. Moss has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games for the Colts inside of the red zone and should continue to extend his streak on Sunday at home against the Rams. -120 odds are available for Moss' anytime touchdown line at FanDuel Sportsbook.

D'Andre Swift Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+100) Click here for the best odds for this pick

Philadelphia's getting comfortable with D'Andre Swift as its definitive RB1, which means we're going to see Swift find the end zone in a plus-matchup on Sunday behind the league's best offensive line unit. Swift has only scored once so far, back in Week 2 against the Vikings, but he'll face Washington's run defense in Week 4, which has allowed 4.8 YPC and three rushing touchdowns so far. The Commanders are vulnerable through the air as well, so Swift could seize his first receiving touchdown. Either way, at even odds on FanDuel Sportsbook, Swift's anytime touchdown prop needs to be hammered. Oddsmakers expect Jalen Hurts to extend his scoring streak as a ball carrier at -130, however, those usually occur on the "Brotherly Shove" or "Tush Push" formation at the goal line. Swift will have wide lanes to exploit all day long, so whether it's in the red zone or from long distance, expect the Eagles' talented, versatile RB1 to score his second touchdown for Philadelphia against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

Najee Harris Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+115) Click here for the best odds for this pick

Pittsburgh has found ways to win despite having a virtually non-existent rushing attack. The Steelers are 30th in the league in total rushing yards (201) and averaging 3.2 YPC behind one of the worst run-blocking units, negatively affecting Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren. While Warren is the explosive second-year running back seeing all of the passing work, Harris still maintains a marginal lead in carries, earning a 61.3 percent rush share in Week 3 against the Raiders. Houston is one of the best matchups for running backs, dating back to last season, surrendering a league-high seven rushing touchdowns through its first three games in 2023. Pittsburgh's offense has hardly been in the red zone, but that changes on Sunday. Harris is the bigger running back and will get valuable carries in the red zone, leading to his first touchdown of the season at +115 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Ja'Marr Chase Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+125) Click here for the best odds for this pick

The Tennessee Titans always present a good matchup for opposing wideouts, so it makes sense to target Bengals' star wideout Ja'Marr Chase to record his first touchdown of the 2023 season on the road in Week 4. Chase had a quiet start but recorded 12 receptions for 141 yards on 15 targets against a good Rams secondary in Week 3, showcasing his strong rapport with Joe Burrow. Burrow's calf injury seems to be improving, while these two established a rhythm that should transfer nicely into a plus matchup against a Titans team that has historically been dominated by the Bengals. Chase has yet to score on Tennessee, so expect him to be plenty motivated to score his first touchdown of the 2023 season against a team that's managed to hold him out of the end zone. +125 is great value for Chase's anytime touchdown scorer odds, as he may even get two touchdowns, worth sprinkling on at +900 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Latavius Murray Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+250) Click here for the best odds for this pick

Buffalo's leading player in red zone carries is none other than veteran bruiser, Latavius Murray. He's recorded six carries for 2.3 YPC and two receptions on two targets inside of the 20, resulting in two touchdowns. Josh Allen and Damien Harris each have a red zone rushing touchdown as well, but Murray is tough to tackle, especially in obvious goal-to-go situations. Miami is allowing 4.6 YPC and has surrendered four rushing touchdowns this season while allowing only three total receiving touchdowns. Buffalo will likely feed its short-yardage grinder, Murray, to finish off a long drive with six points. At +250 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook, this line is very lucrative and deserves a couple of units placed.
