The Washington Commanders probably aren’t going to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, but there’s one matchup I’m eyeing in this game where Washington should have some success. Let me sell you on my favorite player prop of the NFL slate.

Washington Commanders vs. Philadelphia Eagles Prediction
Logan Thomas was Sam Howell’s favorite target in Week 1, leading the team in targets. He was getting absolutely fed in Week 2 before getting laid out in the end zone. Well, LT has finally returned from a concussion, and should be a key factor in Sunday’s matchup against the Eagles.
Philadelphia has a solid defense, and an elite defensive line, but they are thin in their secondary and some of their linebackers are banged up. I fully expect them to shut down the run game, but Sam Howell should have plenty of opportunities to bounce back after a horrid Week 3 performance.
Logan Thomas might be fragile, but when he’s on the field, he’s going to be a factor for Eric Bieniemy in this new-look ‘Manders offense. We saw plenty of plays drawn up for LT and John Bates when he exited the game, as it’s clear the tight end position is a safety-net for the rookie QB.
When the prop lines for this game dropped, Logan Thomas was (+100) to go over his 2.5 receptions. He is now (-120) to get three or more catches today. This movement is a great sign for LT backers, even as the spread for Washington moves from +8.5 to +9.5. We know Washington probably won’t be winning this game, and they aren’t going to be able to run the ball against this stout Eagles DL. Look for Howell to rely on his veteran tight end, and bet him to go over his receptions.
