Monday Night Football Player Props Prediction
Kenneth Walker has silenced all the doubters this season. He’s made it clear that he’s the Seahawks running back of the future. They might have drafted Zach Charbonnet, but he’s not jumping Walker on the depth chart. Walker should rack up plenty of yardage on the ground tonight, but he’s not getting into the end zone. The Giants have the fifth most-efficient red zone defense, compared to Seattle’s 28th most-efficient red zone offense.
Right now, Walker is the only player in this game who is minus-money to score a touchdown. Everyone else is plus-money to find the end zone on Monday night. Don’t take the bait on this prop, there simply isn’t any value. Walker scored twice in each of his last two games, but the Giants defense is sneaky-good in the red zone. Fade Walker to find the end zone tonight, it’s one of the most public plays of MNF and it simply isn’t hitting. Charbonnet has been getting an increased workload every week, and although Kenneth Walker is “the guy,” I’m willing to bet Charbonnet poaches a score from Walker for his first career NFL touchdown tonight.
Seattle running backs aren’t the only players I’m targeting tonight. I like Jason Myers to go over his 1.5 FGs made prop against a Giants defense that clamps down in the red zone. Although Myers hasn’t hit this in his last two games, he did last year against a very similar Giants team. Seattle has the fifth least-efficient red zone offense in the NFL. With the total dropping from 49.5 to 46.5, I’m expecting plenty of offensive drives to stall tonight. Back Myers to make two or more field goals tonight at plus money.
