Titans vs. Colts Prediction, Pick, Odds: Will We See All-Pro Jonathan Taylor In Action on Sunday?

The Indianapolis Colts could have Jonathan Taylor back in the mix for Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans.

The Colts have been competitive thus far. They're 2-2 and getting positive results from rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson to begin the season.

Richardson isn't the most elite passer. But he's got wheels.

At home, Richardson and the Colts will look to get over .500 with a win against the Titans.

However, the Titans earned a massive 27-3 win over the Bengals and are also trending in the right direction.

With the potential addition of Jonathan Taylor help the Colts escape Tennessee at home?

Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Sunday's game between the Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts.

Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts Prediction

It's okay to get excited over a potential Jonathan Taylor return.

But even if he plays, he'll be rotated in and likely won't earn many snaps. It's improbable that he makes a significant impact, if any, in this game.

The Colts have still earned 335 yards per game offensively. They've played 1.5 games with Gardner Minshew under center. The rest of the games have been played with Anthony Richardson.

Richardson only has three passing touchdowns and 479 yards passing. But he's also produced on the ground, with 131 yards on 23 carries. On the ground, Richardson has scored four touchdowns in 2.5 games.

The run game has been weak otherwise. Zack Moss had 280 yards and a touchdown. But Jonathan Taylor would definitely be an upgrade to Moss when he's 100 percent.

The Colts will face a Titans defense that has played above average this year. The Titans aren't special in any area. But they've still stopped teams to 336 yards per game, including just 70 yards on the ground.

The Titans are difficult to score on. After Richardson threw just a 44% completion percentage last weekend, the Colts will likely want to run the football a lot. Against the Titans, they won't have much success.

On the other hand, the Colts have allowed 413.3 yards per game, with 286.5 yards in the passing game. Indianapolis has a weak secondary and continues to miss tackles consistently.

Up front, the Colts have some talent. The pass rush is effective. But the Titans don't throw the football too much. They'd rather pound the rock with Derrick Henry and Tyjae Sharpe.

The rookie Sharpe has rushed for over six yards a carry. Meanwhile, Henry is averaging about four yards an attempt.

However, if Tennessee is forced to pass the ball, Tannehill has a clear favorite receiver in DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins has seen 31 targets in four games. The next receiver on the Titans only has 16 targets.

Hopkins hasn't broken out yet. He's caught 18 receptions for 216 yards and no touchdowns. But this is the game where he can find the end zone and put together a quality stat line across the board.

Let's take the Titans at -110.
