In tonight's matchup I believe the Chicago Bears will be playing from behind versus a solid Washington Commanders team. Chicago is also looking for a new WR2 with the absence of Chase Claypool, so who is going to take over that role? I believe it is now Darnell Mooney's time to shine in Chicago, and I believe his line is way too low heading into tonight's matchup. I think Mooney will cruise past this line and cash us out tonight.

Let's get this out of the way, Chase Claypool will be watching this game on his TV at the crib again this week which means he vacates the second most wide receiver targets on the Bears. Along with Claypool's vacated targets, Mooney's snap count has also been on the rise as expected. And for us to cash tickets, we need our guy to be on the field as much as possible.
Mooney's snap count per week so far are 84%, 28% (left game early due to injury), 71%, and 75%, which are all solid snap counts for a wide receiver. Last week, Mooney had four targets for four receptions and 51 yards. He also hit this line in seven out of 11 games last year and two out of four games this season, once again leaving early in Week 2 and also getting crushed in Week 3 by the reigning champions the Kansas City Chiefs.
The only fear I have for this player prop is Justin Fields not having the time to throw the ball versus a very elite Washington Commanders defensive line. The game script should be in our favor, considering I believe the Bears will be playing from behind, nothing new there, so there should be more target opportunities for Mooney.
It's only 30.5 yards for an explosive receiver who's looking to take over the WR2 spot in Chicago, I believe this line is way too low and hasn't adjusted properly to Claypool being absent.
