Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders Prediction
Chicago will attempt to get their first win of the season.
The Bears have been the most disappointing team in football this year.
Everything that could have gone wrong for Chicago has gone wrong this season as the team has dealt with both off and on-the-field issues.
Justin Fields played his strongest game of the season in Week 4, leading the Bears to a season-high 28 points. Fields threw for 335 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Fields ended the game with a passer rating of 132.7.
DJ Moore has been one bright side of this Chicago team. Moore was acquired in the off-season from the Carolina Panthers. Moore has racked up a team-high in receiving yards with 301.
Tight end Cole Kmet had his best game of the season, catching seven passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
The Bears defense struggled in Week 4, allowing 31 points to the Broncos. Only Denver has allowed more points this season.
Sam Howell will lead this Commanders offense, which performed well in Week 4 against the Eagles despite the loss.
Howell played well in the loss, throwing for 290 yards and one touchdown.
Washington is a team that feels as if they can make some noise in the NFC. Their easiest path to the playoffs would be via the wildcard, as the NFC East is too deep with the Eagles and Cowboys ahead of them.
The defense has been a bit disappointing for Washington, ranking 20th in football in points allowed per game.
Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders Player Prop Pick
Brian Robinson Jr. is the number one option, leading the Commanders with 61 carries. Antonio Gibson, who has 13 carries, is the next closest running back.
Robinson Jr. will get multiple opportunities to get into the end zone, facing this bad Bears defense.
Robinson Jr. has played in 75% percent of snaps in the red zone this season. The running back has 10 of the 11 attempts by a running back inside the ten-yard line, where he has scored two touchdowns.
