The Steelers suggested that changes would be made after their most recent loss to the Houston Texans, 30-6.
Kenny Pickett is expected to play despite a bone bruise on his knee. He might not be 100% when playing.
Against the Ravens' secondary, that's not ideal. Baltimore has held teams to 203 yards per game in the air. They've also dominated against the run, holding teams to 92.5 yards per game.
It's hard to score against this defense. The Ravens are above average in every area on the field. But that secondary is genuinely the most elite portion.
Pittsburgh has averaged 284 yards per game, including only 78.8 yards on the ground. Najee Harris has earned 210 yards in four games this season. He's averaging about 52.5 yards per game, which isn't ideal for a top running back.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have earned nearly 350 yards per game on offense. The passing game hasn't been ideal. The team has been without Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman for most of the season. Mark Andrews also missed Week 1. So, therefore, Zay Flowers has been the only consistent receiver for the squad.
With the absence of JK Dobbins, Lamar Jackson has rushed the ball 41 times for 220 yards and four touchdowns. He leads the team in rushing. Justice Hill and Gus Edwards have had plenty of opportunities to run the football this season.
With the Steelers lacking in the tackling department, you can expect the Ravens to run the football steadily. The defensive line has been dominant with its pass rush. But the coverage hasn't been great, and the run defense has allowed 148.5 yards per game.
If Jackson can escape the pressure, the Ravens will get by against the Steelers in a rivalry game.
This Pittsburgh team is unlike the other Pittsburgh teams that we've seen previously. This team isn't it.
