NFL Passing Props: Targeting Zach Wilson on the Week 5 QB Cheat Sheet

We're headed to Week 5 of the NFL season. This is the first week where there are some teams on bye weeks.

But there are plenty of enticing player props on the slate for today's NFL matchups.

In this article, we'll look at quarterbacks. We've had a lot of inconsistent play in that area throughout the NFL. But I'm feeling confident with some of the quarterback plays below.

Check my other articles for the different positions, including running backs and wide receivers.

NFL QB Cheat Sheet Week 5

Zach Wilson Over 208.5 Yards Passing (-110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Denver Broncos have allowed 302.5 passing yards per game this season.

Meanwhile, Zach Wilson had his best performance under center, launching the ball for 245 yards against the Chiefs with a 71.8% completion percentage on 39 throws.

Wilson's confidence is back. The team is finally believing in him again. Therefore, he should have a field day against the Broncos.

Denver has the worst secondary in the NFL. They've also struggled to tackle and don't have much pass rush. All of that benefits Wilson in today's matchup.

Joe Burrow Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

It's been four weeks, and Joe Burrow only has two passing touchdowns. But now he's facing an Arizona Cardinals defense that is one of the worst in the NFL.

The Cardinals have lacked in the secondary, allowing 263.8 yards per game in the air this season.

After last week's loss to the Titans, Ja'Marr Chase told the media that he's always open. Look for that Burrow-Chase connection down the field. The Cardinals still have a solid pass rush, but look for Burrow to move around better this week.

He's likely feeling better than he has. Plus, he called this game a must-win. So he'll be ready. Grab Burrow to throw for at least two touchdowns.

Tua Tagovailoa Over 279.5 Passing Yards (-110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Miami Dolphins just added Chase Claypool to the offense. That was an exciting move, but that's not why I'm backing Tua here.

Tua is taking on a Giants defense that has only allowed 213.5 yards in the air. But that's just because most teams can run the football on them in the final portion of the game.

The Dolphins will bring it every drive. They scored 70 against the Broncos without even trying.

With Jaylen Waddle likely 100% healthy and back and Tyreek Hill looking to get back on track, look for the Dolphins to dominate in the air with massive plays down the field against New York.
