7 minNFL Player Props Week 5: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets
Each week, the top sportsbooks give us one of the most exciting NFL betting markets to wager, featuring anytime touchdown scorer prop bets. It's as simple as it sounds. Bet on a player to score a touchdown at any time during their matchup to cash your bet and collect winnings.
Some lines vary drastically from sportsbook to sportsbook, while most of them also provide first touchdown scorer props, 2+ touchdown scorers, 3+ touchdown scorers, and last touchdown scorers, which have bigger odds due to increased difficulty. That isn't to say that betting anytime touchdown scorers is a cake walk. In fact, we've hit just three touchdown scorers in the past two weeks. This just means we're due for a lucrative outing in Week 5.
It's the first week of Byes, so there's a few less games being played, but there are some incredible matchups to exploit from an anytime touchdown scorer context. Using FanDuel Sportsbook, NFL handicapper Matt MacKay is back to share six anytime touchdown scorer props to wager, providing plenty of analysis behind each pick, plus how much to invest behind each prop. Good luck and let's cash all of these NFL ATD Scorer bets!
Best NFL Week 5 Anytime TD Bets
Bijan Robinson Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-125) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
One of the most explosive rookies in the 2023 NFL Draft class, Bijan Robinson already looks the part for Atlanta through four weeks. He's playing 74 percent of snaps, handling 58 percent of touches, but hasn't scored since Week 1. Now, Robinson faces Houston's defense, which is surrendering 4.4 YPC and a league-high seven rushing touchdowns. We all know Falcons head coach Arthur Smith likes to pound the rock, so there will be enough red zone trips, despite the concerning play of quarterback Desmond Ridder. Robinson should find his way into the end zone, perhaps scoring his first career rushing touchdown, or maybe adding another incredible receiving touchdown. Either way, he's a lock to score on Sunday, so let's hammer Robinson's anytime touchdown scorer prop at -125.
Ja'Marr Chase Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+100) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Cincinnati finds itself in another must-win game, this time, on the road against Arizona. The Cardinals have been a tough out for every opponent despite lacking the name-brand value and recognition other teams get, however, Arizona's defense is still ranked fourth-worst in pressure percentage (17.9%) and 32nd in quarterback knock down percentage (2.3%), while the Bengals' offensive line ranks top-eight in sack percentage allowed (5%). This means Joe Burrow should have enough time to make throws this week and find star wideout Ja'Marr Chase for the first touchdown of the season. At even odds (+100), Chase feels like a lock to finally find the end zone in a good matchup in a must-win scenario for the Bengals. Let's invest two units on Chase to score his first touchdown of the season in the Desert.
Breece Hall Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Jets head coach Robert Saleh revealed star running back Breece Hall will no longer be on a snap count due to recovering from a torn ACL. This means it's all systems go for the second-year running back, who injured himself against this same Denver Broncos defense during a huge touchdown run at Mile High a year ago. Hall hasn't scored yet this season, but he's only had 14 or fewer touches in every game. Now, expect 20-25 touches against the league's worst defense. The Broncos are ranked 32nd in rushing touchdowns allowed (7), 31st in yards per carry (5.6 YPC), and also have surrendered a league-worst 13 receiving touchdowns. Zach Wilson should be moving the ball all around the field, with Hall benefitting from frequent red zone trips. Let's place a couple of units on Hall to score his first touchdown of the season at +115 odds.
Zay Flowers Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+230) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Pittsburgh and Baltimore have one of the best rivalries in the NFL. Lamar Jackson tends to struggle against the Steelers, but Pittsburgh's defense and offense are both trending in the wrong direction entering this matchup. Meanwhile, the Ravens are fresh off of a 28-3 rout of Cleveland on the road, so their confidence and momentum is much more abundant. Rookie wideout Zay Flowers had a great start in Week 1, but he's since cooled off, ceding touchdowns to Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews. However, Pittsburgh ranks 27th in passing touchdowns allowed (8) and Flowers had four red zone targets and a 28 percent target share while running 31 percent of routes, which is the best of any Ravens wideout. Flowers is another player we've wagered on before, but this time, it feels like the explosive rookie wideout finds his way into the end zone. +230 is incredible value, so let's throw a unit on Flowers' anytime touchdown scorer odds.
Adam Thielen Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+260) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Carolina will be playing from behind in Detroit, which means former NFC North wideout Adam Thielen should continue to be peppered with valuable targets. Rookie quarterback Bryce Young has struggled through three games played, but Thielen has been his preferred target, garnering a 22 percent target share. Thielen scored against the Saints in Week 2 with Young under center, and now, he faces a familiar opponent, as he's scored four career touchdowns against the Lions. He's seen 8-14 targets in each of his last three games, and had a nice outing despite failing to score against Minnesota in Week 4. +260 is too good to pass up, especially in a positive game script where he's the top target for a young quarterback on the road. Let's wager 1.5 units on Thielen to score his third touchdown of the season and his second with Young under center.
Rashee Rice Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+270) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Chiefs rookie wideout Rashee Rice is quietly earning a bigger role in Andy Reid's offense. He's second on Kansas City in terms of target share (13.4%) and scored right away in his first career NFL game. While Rice hasn't scored since Week 1, he's earned 12 targets in the last two weeks, while leading all Chiefs wideouts with five red zone targets. Minnesota has given up seven receiving touchdowns this season, ranked seventh-most, and they generate bottom-three pressure rate, while facing a Kansas City offensive line that has the best sack percentage allowed (1.3%), surrendering only two sacks through four games. Mahomes will have all day to pick apart a bad Vikings pass defense, so Rice will record his second career touchdown in a game where the Chiefs may win by 30-plus points.
