The Miami Dolphins never show mercy. So, in a game against the 0-5 Carolina Panthers, you can probably expect a massive margin of victory for the Dolphins.

Miami has averaged 522 yards per game, including 336.2 yards in the passing game and 185.8 yards in the run game.

De'Von Achane was put on the Injured Reserve on Wednesday. He'll be inactive for the next four weeks. That's a significant blow, but Jeff Wilson Jr. and Salvon Ahmed could be back for the Dolphins as a backup running back to Raheem Mostert.

The Panthers have allowed 140.8 yards per game on the ground. So, no matter who is on the field for the Dolphins in the run game, they'll likely succeed against the Panthers.

Carolina has only allowed 204.4 yards per game in the air. But think about all the teams that have run the ball in the fourth quarter due to having a lead.

The pass rush for Carolina is actually solid. But the secondary can be beaten, especially by Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

On the other hand, the Panthers will start Bryce Young at quarterback. He's got five passing touchdowns with four interceptions on the year. He's had some big moments and has a great connection with Adam Thielen. But the offensive line has struggled in pass protection and run blocking, which has hurt the development of Young.

Still, the Dolphins have allowed 374 yards per game this season. That's ultimately because of the high amount of possessions per game, thanks to their high-powered offense. But the Dolphins have missed a lot of tackles and don't have a top-tier run defense.

Carolina will want to limit possessions and win the time of possession battle. That will be their goal. The Panthers need to limit possessions and get down the field.

I still like the Dolphins to earn the win, but I believe the Panthers can at least keep this game under the total with intelligent decisions.
