Josey Jewell finished last season with the second most tackles for the Denver Broncos. He averaged 9.8 tackles per game and recorded 8+ tackles in 10 of 13 starts. This season he’s only cleared that number once but has a great matchup tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs offense moves the chains at the fifth highest rate (22.4 first downs per game) and a big reason for that is because of their league leading 51% conversion rate on third down. The Broncos defense has struggled mightily all season and I don’t expect that to change against an extremely efficient offense which means they will be on the field a ton.

That will provide Josey Jewell with plenty of opportunities to go over his total tackles line. At least three opposing defenders have recorded 8+ tackles against Kansas City. Expect the same from Jewell and take the over on his total tackles.
