Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs Same Game Parlay
Leg 1: Russell Wilson 200+ Passing Yards
While the Broncos as a whole have been struggling, Russell Wilson has not been the source of their losses so far. Russell Wilson has actually played very well through the first five games of the season and has totaled 11 touchdown passes to just two interceptions. Wilson is averaging 242 passing yards per game and has a QBR in the top 10 so far, so while the Broncos have been losing it has not been Russ‘s fault. The Broncos also find themselves as 11 point underdogs in this game on the road against the Chiefs tonight.
While I do think they keep this game close, they could find themselves down a considerable margin, which would mean they would have to abandon the run and start to pass every play to get back in the game if they find themselves in a negative gamescript. I think Russ is going to have to make a lot of plays with his arm to win this game anyway but if they find themselves down a lot early or in the second half, they will be forced to throw and I think Russ gets 200+ yards in this game either way.
Leg 2: Patrick Mahomes 225+ Passing Yards
As I mentioned earlier, the Broncos have had one of the worst defenses in the NFL through 5 games to this point. They are actually on a historical pace to be one of the worst defenses in NFL history if they keep this pace up. The Broncos have gotten gashed on the ground and through the air to this point. We saw Sam Howell throw for 299 yards against the Broncos, Tua Tagovailoa totaled 309 passing yards, and Justin Fields threw for a sensational 335 total passing yards against this very weak Broncos defense.
On the season, Mahomes is averaging 257 passing yards per game and has topped 225 yards in each game except for their game against the Jets where they kind of parked the bus a little bit in the second half as it nearly cost them the win. Mahomes is much more talented than fields, Howell, or even Tagovailoa and he should be able to put up 225 passing yards in this game even if Travis Kelce is a little bit limited on the offensive end due to his ankle injury.
