3 minNFL Player Props Week 6: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets
We went a scorching 5-1 with anytime touchdown scorer bets last week, bouncing back in a big way, as Bijan Robinson, Ja'Marr Chase, Adam Thielen, Breece Hall, and Rashee Rice all managed to find the end zone at least once in Week 5. Only Zay Flowers failed to score in a low-scoring road loss against the Steelers.
Let's keep the heater up this weekend on the Week 6 NFL slate, which only has the Packers and Steelers on Bye, meaning we're getting 14 matchups across Sunday and Monday night for anytime touchdown scorer purposes. We already watched the Chiefs grind out a 19-8 win over Denver on Thursday night, which cashed just two touchdown scorers, Kadarius Toney and Courtland Sutton, so we should be due for quite a few players to deliver on their anytime touchdown scorer prop this weekend.
We did six anytime touchdown scorer props last week, and the sixth addition was the only prop that didn't cash, so let's consolidate a bit and move back to five anytime touchdown scorers to wager entering Week 6. This slate is filled with good matchups, like Seahawks vs. Bengals, Lions vs. Buccaneers, and Cowboys vs. Chargers, along with a few lopsided contests, such as Panthers vs. Dolphins and Giants vs. Bills.
NFL handicapper Matt MacKay shares his best anytime touchdown scorer props to wager, with plenty of analysis to justify each pick, including betting appetite and units to stake. Best of luck again this week! Be sure to mention this article to any friends, family, or peers looking to cash an NFL anytime touchdown scorer prop bet in Week 6!
Best NFL Week 6 Anytime TD Bets
Kenneth Walker III Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+100) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
No player is touching the ball more in the red zone for Seattle this season than Kenneth Walker. The second-year running back has scored four touchdowns across his last three games played, handling 17-18 carries during this stretch. Walker has totaled 18 carries for 1.4 YPC and five rushing touchdowns in the red zone this season, serving as the battering ram in Pete Carroll and Shane Waldron's offense. The Seahawks are good enough to move the ball downfield into the red zone frequently and face a Cincinnati defense that has surrendered a rushing touchdown to an opposing ball carrier in four of five games played this season. The Bengals' run defense allows 5.3 yards per attempt, third-most in the league, and only managed to hold the Rams' rushing attack out of the end zone. Walker is too talented and has too much opportunity in a good offense in a plus-matchup, so getting even odds at +100 for his anytime touchdown scorer prop means this is a multi-unit wager to place.
Gus Edwards Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+130) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Yes, Tennessee is one of the toughest run defenses in the league. Or are they? The Titans have allowed four touchdowns to running backs in two of their last three games played, surrendering two to Jerome Ford and another pair to Zack Moss in Week 5. Gus Edwards is currently occupying a committee backfield for the Ravens, who also just activated rookie Keaton Mitchell. However, Edwards is still receiving the bulk of carries amongst Ravens running backs this season, outpacing Justice Hill 56 carries to 29 carries. Hill has been involved in the red zone, culminating in his touchdown against Pittsburgh last weekend, but Edwards' 34 percent rush share is enticing in this spot. Factor in Lamar Jackson, who is a dynamic playmaker with his legs at any time, and Tennessee's defense will be off balance for the majority of its matchup against Baltimore. Jackson and Hill are obvious red zone threats, but Edwards punched in a one-yard touchdown against the Bengals back in Week 2, so he's a player Baltimore is comfortable using to close drives with a touchdown near the goal-line. The targets have been going to Hill, but as long as the Ravens get inside of the five-yard line, Edwards should return value as an anytime touchdown scorer at +130 during the early London game on Sunday morning.
T.J. Hockenson Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+160) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The hamstring injury sustained by Vikings' star wideout, Justin Jefferson, will open up significantly more opportunities for tight end T.J. Hockenson, who already has a 19.6 percent target share with Minnesota this season. Chicago is a plus-matchup across the board, ranking second for most receiving touchdowns allowed (12) and tied first for net yards gained per pass attempt at 7.7. Hockenson has seen 8-11 targets in four of five games already this year, including six in the red zone, leading to four receptions for 24 yards and two touchdowns. He's only scored twice this season, both came against Philadelphia back in Week 2, so Hockenson is set up to cash his anytime touchdown scorer prop at +160 odds at Soldier Field on Sunday. Travis Kelce and Logan Thomas have both scored against the Bears' defense in two of the past three weeks, so Hockenson is next up to achieve this feat, so let's lock in a three-unit wager on his +160 anytime touchdown scorer odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.
Brandon Aiyuk Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+190) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
San Francisco looks like the team to beat this year in the NFL, with third-year wideout Brandon Aiyuk developing into one of the league's top wide receivers. Aiyuk went ballistic with two touchdowns in Week 1 against the Steelers, who play man coverage heavily. The Browns' pass defense, as good as it's played, tends to run a lot of man coverage, playing right into Aiyuk's strength as a receiver. Quarterback Brock Purdy has been surgical and has yet to throw an interception this year, while Aiyuk has popped a couple of times, recording two 100-yard games, while failing to find the end zone since going 8-129-2 in Week 1. That changes on the road in Cleveland in Week 6. The Browns have only allowed one touchdown to a wide receiver this year, but Aiyuk should see another seven to eight targets, averaging 14 yards per target this season, giving the 49ers' star wideout a chance to score his third touchdown of the season at lucrative +190 odds. Aiyuk is an anytime touchdown scorer prospect worth a two-unit stake.
Drake London Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+240) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Atlanta and Washington should be a close, exciting game to watch on Sunday. The Commanders are among the worst pass defenses in the league, allowing 10 receiving touchdowns and 6.8 net yards per pass attempt, which is fourth-highest this season. Justin Fields found D.J. Moore for three touchdowns during Washington's last game played, while the Commanders have allowed at least one wideout to score in four of their five games played this season. A.J. Brown and D.J. Moore combined for five of these receiving touchdowns during Washington's last two games played, so Drake London, Atlanta's alpha wideout, who is soaking up a 20.3 percent target share, locked next to tight end Kyle Pitts, should find the end zone for the third time this season. London has scored in every other game, which is another trend this aligns with. London leads all Falcons wideouts with seven red zone targets, turning them into four receptions and two touchdowns. That doubles the opportunity share distributed to Kyle Pitts, Jonnu Smith, and Bijan Robinson, so at +240 anytime touchdown scorer odds, let's place a unit on his prop line in a plus-matchup at home against the porous pass defense of the Washington Commanders.
