Chicago Bears vs. Los Angeles Chargers Prediction
This number doesn’t make much sense to me. Ekeler has hit this number in all three games he has played this year, and gets his easiest matchup yet. This being plus-odds is so strange to me, almost too good to be true, so we will still only play for one unit.
Ekeler has hit over his carries number in all three games, despite losing each of them. Los Angeles enters this game as 8.5-point favorites, so that should project more second half running of the football. I like Kelley is this matchup as well to get some work, but I will go with Ekeler now that he has an extra week of good health.
Los Angeles may be poorly coached by Brandon Staley, but this is a game that they should dominate. We can’t expect Chicago to have back-to-back impressive weeks, and the Chargers roster is too talented to drop to 2-5. Kansas City had two running backs with 15 rush attempts each against Chicago this year, I think this game could be similar but with Ekeler getting 65% of the work. Only needing 14 feels light, and this is plus-odds. Let's roll!
